Wintergatan Marble Machine: As Insane as it is Wonderful

Ever wondered what 2,000 marbles would sound like if you suddenly went into some sort of a mad trance and spent sleepless months creating the ultimate mechanical marble musical instrument? Neither have I, but after you hear the video above, you’ll probably wish you’d invented this bizarre, yet ingenious musical contraption.

Swedish resident genius, Martin Molin, the creator of this insanely wonderful thing, which he lovingly dubs the “M. M. Machine” for short, dreamt up and created this programmable instrument back in 2014 for his band, Wintergatan.

The artist has made the full track in all its complex glory available at BandCamp (for those interested).
